I started blogging in 2010 during a marketing internship in college. Back then, my focus was mostly fashion and luxury lifestyle content. Over the years, I worked on different blogs, launched some of my own (now retired), and eventually watched social media take over. Somewhere along the way, I stopped blogging altogether.

But, I've felt this pull to get back to it.

As I've thought about what I wanted this space to be, I realized I've been paying more attention to the little things that make my days better: fresh flowers, iced coffee, books I can't put down, skincare finds, morning sunlight, slightly chilly Los Angeles nights...

More than anything, I wanted a place to share the things that genuinely interest me.

You'll find posts about skincare and beauty, books, life lately, my grief journey, and whatever else happens to be on my mind. Some posts might be personal. Some might just be a photo. Some might be nothing more than a collection of thoughts I wanted to save somewhere.

I also wanted to step away from the way I approached blogging in my marketing career. I'm used to content calendars, publishing schedules, and planning weeks (or even months) in advance.

Now, that works for my job; but, personally, all of that preparation started to take the fun out of blogging. I found myself brainstorming topics I wasn't actually excited to write about.

So this time, I'm doing things differently.

I plan to post intentionally (as super cliché as that sounds). I do not want to set up a strict schedule but, instead, I'll post when I have something worth sharing. Honestly, I'd rather write because I want to than because I feel obligated to.
